What do we believe?

Noreen believes that the most important part of the college process is to help each child recognize their value, emphasize their strengths, discover who they are as a person, build confidence, and provide insight as to where a young adult can be happy and meet with success in a college environment. It is that ability to find the college or university where one can thrive, which truly sets Noreen apart from other college counselors. She is truly interested in getting to know each student personally and develop a wonderful relationship with each child, serving as a mentor and guide throughout the often stressful and overwhelming college admission process. Working with someone other than one’s own parent, often takes the nagging and procrastination out of the picture, and instead, Noreen keeps each student on track, organized, and makes sure that all deadlines are met and applications are completed early. This is a very exciting time in a young person’s life, and the role of the parent is to love, guide, support and encourage one’s child, so that they realize that their value is not tied to the college they attend, but rather to who they are as a human being.
